WELCOME TO THE SF CHAPTER OF THE VR/AR  ASSOCIATION

WHERE IT ALL BEGINS

"I love attending VR/AR Association events in San Francisco. It is a terrific community and every event has been an amazing source of inspiration with great speakers and insightful discussions."  -- Martina Ori, Ph.D., Hyperfair VR

WHY JOIN VRARA SF?

As the world's technology epicenter, San Francisco and Silicon Valley have become hotbeds for VR and AR. VRARA positions companies of all sizes to capitalize on this next major computing platform shift.

Carried by chapter leaders that are embedded in VR/AR front lines, a thought-leadership approach is taken towards member support. This happens through the chapter's research, editorial output and events.

These content assets are education to members and visibility channels for them.  The industry contacts we develop through this knowledge base also serve members through introductions and networking.

All of the above is cultivated through:

A-LIST EVENTS

I feel it's a "cut above" many of the other VR/AR/MR Meetups around as far as content and the people involved.

-- Tim Aldridge, Performa Apps

WHAT ATTENDEES ARE SAYING...

A fantastic job moderating, synthesizing, contextualizing, harmonizing . . .  the speakers and audience were lucky…  was also inspiring to see the buzzed turn-out and run into friends I didn’t expect to see.

-- Linda Jacobson, Founder, East Bay Virtual Reality Alliance

I love attending VR/AR Association events in San Francisco. It is a terrific community and every event has been an amazing source of inspiration with great speakers and insightful discussions.

-- Martina Ori, Ph.D., Hyperfair VR

I really like what VRARASF is creating and community that has formed around it; it's of value to me to see the organization to continue and thrive- I feel it's a "cut above" many of the other VR/AR/MR Meetups around as far as content and the people involved.

-- Tim Aldridge, Performa Apps

All the talks were very interesting and informative. Moreover, in listening to Robert Scoble and Shel Israel, I felt like I stumbled into my favorite kind of a comedy show. In addition, I was very impressed to see the diversified crowd in the room and that over 40% of the guests were women.

-- Yaara Guetta, MBA, Hult International School of Business
