Malaysia, with the establishment of the Multimedia Super Corridor and Cyberjaya, myriad degree programs related to Arts and Science in software development, game development and computer science, and plethora of startups and SMEs focusing on VR/AR, has embraced the Information Age and has the ingredients to become a leading hub for the VR/AR industry. Andrew Yew,PhD

Received his doctorate in 2015 at the National University of Singapore, Andrew served as a research fellow focusing on AR, Ubiquitous Computing and their applications in engineering, robotics, education and rehabilitation. Currently, he is one of the founders and the Technical Director at Ministry XR – a specialised Extended Reality (XR) company in Malaysia that creates strategies to develop and implement XR experiences, applications and enterprise solutions.

(Mooks) Mundzir Abdul Latif

Software Engineer from Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation, Mooks began his career in advertising, creating disruptions within the Malaysian digital advertising landscape. Incorporating innovative technologies to push the limits of effective engagement methodologies, for brands and its consumers. In his effort to transcend boundaries of acclaimed brand engagement strategies, Extended Reality solutions was used for digital transformations within FMCG, telecommunications, retail and automotive industries.
