VR/AR Chicago's Hands on Demo Day provides Chicago's tech leadership community with the opportunity to experience the different types of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality technologies available in the market today. As we've stated at nearly every event, nothing compares with actually trying the equipment and experiences to understand first-hand what the technology is capable of. On April 10th, we will assemble as many different technology demonstrations as the space can hold. Don't miss your opportunity to try the technology for yourself. This event is free to attend but requires a ticket and it will sell out, so click here to get your tickets today.

Interested in Exhibiting:

VR & AR equipment manufacturers and software developers have the opportunity to represent their own technology at this event for a nominal fee, which is further discounted if you are a VRARA or 1871 member company. If you're interested in one of the few remaining exhibit spaces, please complete the linked demonstration request form.

Description

VR/AR Chicago brings together people who are interested in working with virtual and augmented reality technology.

The group includes developers, business leaders, investors, students, and more. Many of our members are actively working with VR and AR technology here in Chicago - providing consulting, business development, and technology development services. What makes us different from other groups is that we are not just interested in seeing what's out there, we are actively producing, promoting, and demonstrating VR and AR technology in our businesses and community.

We generally meet on the 1st Wednesday every month. There a few months where we move for holidays or to avoid other known Immersive Technology events, but it always takes place on a Wednesday. Throughout 2019, all of our monthly MeetUps will be held at 1871 in the auditorium. Topics and panel details are schedule to be announced at least 2 weeks prior to each schedule MeetUp.

If you are interested in sponsoring, demonstrating technology, or participating on the expert panel, please email the organizer. We're also happy to answer any questions.

VRARA Chicago Chapter - How VR & AR Affect the Real Estate Industry

RSVP here

Screen Shot 2018-09-28 at 10.55.39 AM.png

Real estate is one of the industries that quickly adopted immersive technology. Virtual reality and augmented reality provide buyers and renters with a new way to experience properties, both on the commercial and residential side. With VR, prospective tenants can quickly view multiple properties without ever leaving their broker's office, gaining a better physical understanding of the spaces than flat photography can provide. Augmented reality allows prospective tenants to see potential office space layouts within the context of a raw space that they may be viewing. VR/AR Chicago is happy to bring together a panel of experts on Real Estate and Immersive technology to answer whatever questions you may have about how XR technology is going to affect the Real Estate Industry.
