Event description: With AltspaceVR recently closing its service on Friday, March 10, there is a large community being displaced, and many may be wondering how to choose a social VR platform that fits their needs, in-world feature sets, and accessibility considerations. Join the VRARA Seattle Chapter as Drew Stone, Founder of Locusium, a VR event production company, walk us through the various ways to understand the contemporary VR landscape of social VR platforms. We will review a survey of contemporary social VR platforms, their features and limitations, and how to think through considerations for both casual users and enterprise clients.
