Argentina’s tech-business and startup scene is growing and thriving. The country, that represents the 3rd largest GDP in Latin America, is the up-and-coming tech hub of the region. Key factors such as education, full government support, talent, and other factors such as a convenient time zone and cost, have placed the Argentinean Tech ecosystem in the centre of the international scene.

The VR/AR Association poses as a big opportunity to consolidate the community’s ecosystem, encouraging the sharing of visions, knowledge, and contacts among members, as well as position Argentina as the preferred and most innovative VR/AR offshore development hub.

Pablo Bertero

Pablo Bertero is an award-winning marketing expert with more than a decade of expertise supporting global brands at the intersection of content and technology.  Pablo joined WPP in 2015 in Buenos Aires, where he started his relentless intrapreneurial journey. After several years in Wunderman Thompson Prague, Pablo has since relocated to London, where he now operates as Wunderman Thompson Executive Director. Pablo is responsible for bringing together media, data, and technology, to develop new content experiences that delivers measurable growth. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Design, by the University of Buenos Aires, a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, by UADE, and a specialization on Business Administration for Technology Companies by University of San Andrés. He has lectured on subjects involving media, new technologies, communication, and digital businesses.  He continues to evolve his digital designer’s skills into VR by experimenting with virtual modelling, space design and 3D printing, among others.
