WELCOME TO THE AMSTERDAM CHAPTER OF THE GLOBAL ASSOCIATION FOR VR & AR

Right after London and Berlin, Amsterdam has become the place to be for startups and tech talent. Home to large corporates like Booking.com, European HQ of Uber and Netflix, unicorns such as Adyen, as well as numerous innovative startups and accelerators, Amsterdam combines innovation, creativity, inspiration, cultural heritage and fun! Amsterdam benefits from an impressive digital infrastructure, with platforms like the Amsterdam Internet Exchange (AMS-IX), one of the world’s largest data transport hubs. And finally, Amsterdam is a very pleasant place to live and keeps on attracting people from all over the world.

Bodine Beentjes

My name is Bodine Beentjes. I was born and raised in Sint Maarten, a small island in the Caribbean. I completed my studies in Madrid at IE University, and am now starting my career as a Solution Engineer at Salesforce.

I discovered my passion for XR while I was in Dublin. Here Joel De La Fuente and I started the Irish Chapter for VRARA. In the past year we held weekly sessions, hosted speakers, and grew the chapter to 14 members! Now I have been relocated to Amsterdam within Salesforce, so am beyond excited to use my experience with the Irish Chapter and take on the chapter president role here!
