CitrusBits Launches IntelliXR, a Platform for Eye and Brain Biomarkers

VRARA member CitrusBits has officially launched IntelliXR, a platform built to help healthcare and research teams capture eye and brain biomarkers using XR.

IntelliXR brings together four pieces that usually get built separately: the Ocunur headset for capturing eye and brain signals, an SDK and API for developers and researchers, IntelliMDM for managing headsets at fleet scale, and a compliance foundation (HIPAA, SOC2-aligned) so teams can start security conversations with documentation already in hand.

The hardware isn’t unproven - it’s the same foundation behind RadiusXR, an FDA-cleared vision diagnostic product already used by more than 10,000 patients across 2,000+ clinics.

IntelliXR is built for researchers, health tech startups, pharma and biotech teams, CROs, and device makers who need eye- and brain-based signals as part of detecting, treating, tracking, or studying a condition - from head-mounted visual field testing to neurological eye-movement research.

“Healthcare teams have strong ideas for how XR can support patients, and they need a dependable foundation to bring those ideas into clinical use,” said Gaurav Malik, Chief Commercial Officer at CitrusBits. “IntelliXR gives them the headset, the software, device management, and compliance in one platform, so their time goes into the research and the care that matters most.”

CitrusBits previewed IntelliXR at the Ophthalmology Futures European Forum in London in September 2026, and today’s launch opens the platform to research and commercial teams ready to build on it now.
