Being the most active economic epicenter in Italy, Milan suits well as a hotspot for new, disruptive technologies and businesses. The local presence of big tech companies makes Milan one of the most interesting landscapes for AR and VR. Lorenzo Montagna founded the 1st Italian consultant company about AR & VR enterprise strategy solutions named “Second stAR VR” in 2017. He is an expert about technologies applied to media. Mauro is the CEO of JoinPad, an AR company. Mauro developed his first program in basic language when he was eleven years old, discovering the passion that would have stayed with him for the rest of his life. From 1998 to 2001 he taught skydiving in the Italian Army and he experienced for the first time the VR simulator for paratroopers. In December 2010, he founded JoinPad; Its core competence is developing and supporting applications for the industrial sector. In 2015, Mauro became the first Smart Glasses Evangelist for Epson.
Fabio Mosca - Advisory Board for Gaming
Fabio Mosc is an italian virtual reality designer and engineer. With a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science engineering, Fabio focused his studies on videogame programming and interactive media, leading to developing virtual reality headsets based software in 2014. After years of experiments and research in virtual reality, he released Yon Parado in 2016, a VR videogame about time paradoxes, and co-founded AnotheRealit, a VR creative studio where he currently is CTO. Founder of the biggest italian VR community (AperitiVR, the VR Milan meetup), he also teaches VR and Game programming in academies and gives talks about VR development principles across conferences.
