WELCOME TO THE AUSTRIAN CHAPTER OF THE GLOBAL ASSOCIATION FOR VR AND AR
WHY JOIN VRARA AUSTRIA?
Located in the heart of Europe, Austria is characterised by excellently trained specialists, innovative companies, modern infrastructure and the highest quality of life. Its location makes it a hub between Eastern and Western Europe and offers companies a safe haven. This has created a healthy AR and VR ecosystem in Austria that covers almost the entire value chain from hardware and software to developer tools and arcades. Many creative agencies have built up AR/VR competencies and implemented projects for large international customers. The VRARA is the perfect network for the entire VR/AR scene and connects it with international global players.

As a VR experience, only two months after its release in January 2019, connect already reached popularity rank 15 out of more than 1600 VR apps in the VIVEPORT store. Prior to his time at e.com, Michael Schoeggl conducted sociopsychological experiments as a research assistant and, as self-taught software developer, almost doubled the user numbers at the largest German text-based online game Avalon (24 years old!) with his own developments and ideas.
