[New York, Oct 25 2017] — The VR/AR Association (VRARA) has been invited to join the Forbes Council. "This will be an amazing addition to our VRARA community," says Kris Kolo, Global Executive Director at VRARA.

VRARA is an international organization designed to foster collaboration between innovative companies and people in the virtual reality and augmented reality ecosystem that accelerates growth, fosters research and education, helps develop industry standards, connects member organizations and promotes the services of member companies.

Through a publishing partnership on Forbes.com, VRARA will promote our Industry Committees and grow their influence in the market, and increase their visibility through Forbes.com by submitting thought leadership articles and short tips on industry-related topics for publishing on Forbes.com.

For example, VRARA's Storytelling Committee has published Top 10 Best Practices for VR, and the Healthcare Committee has published industry research on VR & AR in medical use cases. All committees are working on best practices, guidelines, and standards to accelerate the VR & AR industry to its maximum potential.

VRARA's mission is to connect leading VR & AR solution providers with brands & customers and to accelerate anyone's growth, knowledge and connections. This partnership with Forbes will help us in our mission.

Scott Gerber, founder of Forbes Councils, says, “We are honored to welcome the VR/AR Association into the community. Our mission with Forbes Councils is to curate successful professionals from every industry, creating a vetted, social capital-driven network that helps every member make an even greater impact on the business world.”
